Adrian Lipscombe is currently writing a book that explores live-fire cooking through the intersections of food, history, migration, landscape, architecture, and cultural memory.

Part cookbook, part cultural exploration, the project moves beyond the idea of barbecue as simply a regional style of cooking. Instead, it looks at fire as one of humanity's oldest tools—and cooking over fire as knowledge that has traveled across continents, generations, and cultures.
